I guarantee I have turned left mort often than you and I'm on my way to turning right $$... did the facts of my post strike a nerve...those are the realities of corp. flying. Im sorry that it offended you but I dont see any corp. flying job as a "dream job" I see flying corp. jobs as overworked, underpaid, and underappreciated, it may be different in your eyes....
I often wonder why pilots find it a moral and vital imparitive to be right about everything. I figured out a few things.. in every fbo, every pilot you talk to has the BEST job with flying the BEST a/c and the BEST future, quite comical, very compeitive work group with little grasp on the finacial and personal implications of a corp. job. If the best part of your job is the hotel points and high priced dinners and corp. expense...not to dreamy.
I found it very unispiring to be out on the road with people you have not to much in common, seeing things without your family wasnt very much fun...and stuffing myself at a high priced bistro with the same clothes on for 2-3 days got old real quick.. I can paint a rosy picture for you and make you feel better but what am I saying that YOU have not b*tched about a thousand times to your spouse or co-workers. If you deny it your a LIAR plane and simple I have been with a thousand crews and its all the same conversation, food, war stories, then griping....every once and a while you'll find someone who likes boats and that makes for a quick ride...at least 121 you may no see the SOB again but 91 Oooh the landmines and brownnosing.. I saw in 91, it wasnt how good you were, it was how bad the other guy was compared to you....good day
