For the love of Buddah people, when the 2003 CBA was negotiated at CHAUTAUQUA there were no E-Jets. Now its 2009, and they are deeply involved in contract negotiations.

Yes their FO pay sucks, especially in the larger airframes, but nobody knows that better than RAH pilots and don't EVER forget the circumstances that surrounded their negotiating of that non-concessionary CBA (namely the threat of a non-union Republic Airlines taking the US Airways E145s from Chautauqua).

Before everybody gets all school-girl jealous that they're not the ones flying these narrowbodies (really, none of you here would quit your job out of principal if your airline got those airplanes) give RAH pilots an opportunity to fix their compensation via Section 6.

Yes, the line between a regional airline and everything else just got blurred. A lot. But don't act so surprised...
