what mainline job you going to move to? Republic's 190? The new transatlantic bottom feeders set to replace united and continental and british airways?

the republic pilots on this thread remind me of an ostrich with its head in the ground. happy place. happy place.
I'm not a Bedford man.

I'm just pointing out the fact that the pilot group at RAH can only work in the confines of the CBA currently in place and the RLA. Just like the guys at Midwest. They already tried to strike but could not because of their CBA and the arbitration results. I'm not blaming just the Midwest guys...I'm blaming EVERY pilot in this industry. I blame every single airline pilot working today because no matter what level of this industry you work every one has at some point accepted wages/work rules that were not appropriate.

People like to pick a group to blame. The spot light moves around but the message is always the same: "God I can't believe xxx pilot group is doing xxx. I would never do that." When in reality they already have done "that" and have justified it somehow.

And to answer your question about seat mile cost....are you serious. Think about it.

717-Midwest pay-88 seats
190-RAH pay-99/100 seats

Even with Pastor Bedford's profit margin it is still reducing seat cost.
And stop worrying about pax getting bumped. The midwest management quit worrying about the passengers a long time ago.

Like I said everyone in this industry owns a little piece of this **** cake.
