that's exactly what happened though. They tried to climb the plane to too high an altitude, at too low an airspeed, stalled it, flamed out both engines, and never maintained enough forward airspeed for an engine relight.
My bad. I remember reading the NTSB report but I think it was about 2 years ago. I recall they failed to gain enough airspeed to do a windmill restart and they were criticized for not getting the aircraft down to the airport below them. It bothers me when I see and read inacurate reporting my the media on our specialized trade.
