Not to pour gasoline on the fire, but wasn't JetBlue the company that wanted duty exemptions to conduct roundtrip coast to coast day trips?

Fact is that airline management will get away with anything that we the pilots, the feds, or the paying public will allow. It doesn't matter who you work for...

Pilots at JetBlue aren't the only ones who should be concerned over continual reductions in scope. However if I was a B6 pilot who didn't have the scope protections of other carriers, I certainly would be moving to get them. If I were a mainline pilot at a different carrier, I would always be looking to improve the scope clauses.
