The last point I'll make is that at least the JetBlue pilot's still have leverage. Republic's crews don't. The moment the Republic pay is thought to be excessive, the contracts will be awarded to another regional and the Republic pilots will be out on the street. It happened at Comair and it happened at Expressjet.
I'll give you this but I also don't think that jetblue as a collective are all that strong or willing to fight a real fight. (sadly, as with most pilots these days)
