The 90's can take off at Max Gross from SLC - its a range issue. The 90's cannot make the east come from SLC, the bus can. In two years of flying the 90 the farthest east that I went was CLE. The 90's can, however, make both coasts from MSP. So by switching the bases you can now cover both casts from SLC and MSP. This move actually makes sense so it probably won't happen - after all we can just throw more RJ's into both bases.
