Being enrolled as a student will also make u eligible for various student loans. No gaurantees? high interest rates?...sure.. but If you're not willing to take a chance you wont get anywhere. It just seems kinda silly to be asking for sponsership when pilots don't exactly have it easy nowdays. That being said..if i was in your shoes..i would also consider the military.. maybe you can enroll urself into school as well as an ROTC program.
Another idea... MLT program! Medical lab techs start at around $42,000 a year in most big major cities. And the more certs you have with that, the more you can make. I work with quite a few that have 2 year degrees. You can do quite a bit of flying on that amount of money. Sure, it wont be 0 time to airline pilot in 1 year, but you will make it if you really wanted to! Dont go for Phlebotomy, they dont make anything. I did that for 3 years in college making $12/hr. In college, living in the dorms, that was good beer money! haha
