I haven't played FlightSim for a few months now- no time- but when I used a yoke (borrowed) I couldn't get a "feel" for where the controls were, i.e. how far in or out for pitch, etc. A stick is much better as you know where your hand and wrist are when you are using the control. Not quite as authentic but works better.
