As I recall.....

These are the code share flts. I am guessing it comes up as a 8000 block flt. I have nonreved on these type of flts before on AeroMexico. From what I remember we can nonrev on them, but they are only required to assign you a seat that DAL has bought on the aircraft. IE DAL has 30 seats on said flight and they are all sold out with people who bought DAL tickets stock, but the rest of the plane has 40 seats. They are not required to seat you in their open seats, only the open seats that are blocked off for the DAL codes share.
AF does things a little differently over in CDG, but this is the gist of what I have heard from people who have done it.
