As a matter of fact my previous employer Kitty Hawk had better pay and schedule than the big, bad and evil AMR Corp.
What I am talking about is getting all or most of your days off in one batch, not spread out over the month. Rest such as pay and logo on the airplane does not matter.
My Bad, I didn't know that you could not fly one long trip at AMR. I did understand that you wanted you days off in one batch though. At Northwest, I used to bid one 12 day trip and be finished for the month
. If I wanted a lot of time off, I would work the beginning of one month and the last 12 days of the next month. That would only work on the 747 patterns in Asia. The domestic patterns don't allow flying all your trips together due to 30 in 7 rules.
