I think the point of that post flew over your head. The first group of tasks, pilots do as obligatory responsibilities. The second group of tasks are those which are unsafe and frequently done, but shouldn't be.

With some unity, this profession could be transformed in hours. With the unity we have, we will get nowhere. Who cares if ALPA gets fined from an illegal work action? I guess our dues money will at least go towards something productive. Someday guys and gals.... someday.
