All joking aside it will be interesting to see how this plays out. Fred is obviously worried out it. Now we will see just what kind of political clout he has given the leanings of the current government.
Pretty clever to spin it into a "bailout" for UPS. Fred is obviously trying to appeal to the public on this issue, but in the end I think the public just doesnt give a rats a$$ about it.
Funny thing is that if an employer pays top notch wages, hires top notch people, and treats them like assests rather than liabilities ti would be pretty easy to keep a union off the property. Although some may argue that its actually cheaper to let the union in and make them slug it out for every penny.
