If he does, thats not being a very good CEO. Long Term, the 777 will benifit FDX greatly. And I dont think Fred has Congress in his pocket anymore, like in the past. There are advantages and disadvantages to Fred's business model. One of the big advantages is avoiding the teamsters. If his business model is forced to change, I am sure he and we will survive but the business model will change. Now that we know how the IPA rank and file feel, I would like to see if the mechanics in Seattle think he is bluffing.
