Blanket generalizations are horrible. Cite examples...here's one.
In my old squadron, we had a guy who would tell his airline he had Reserve Duty so he could drop a trip over Xmas. Worked fine until the day the airline called the Squadron and asked to talk to him.
Needless to say, he is no longer employed by that airline.
That is the single case I know of where someone has abused their Reserve position.
