Yesterday's meeting was closed door, so we don't know exactly what was said there. However, if you watch the testimony given by Babbitt (and others) from last Thursday's Congressional Hearing, they made it clear that they will be proposing changes AND new legislation regarding 121, not just regionals. There were multiple people who sited the "One Level of Safety", and it was clear that they are going to target ALL 121 carriers. The idea being that if everyone is affected, it will eliminate the "competitive advantage" in the words of Mr. Petri (We call this "whipsaw").
All in all, I'm a little excited to see what will happen. Next up, the senate hearing!
