Commuting home a few days ago to DFW I was forced to go thru MEM, I was planning on taking American, I had a real tight connection. When I got to the gate I saw that the flight had canceled. I saw that a NWA flight to DFW was leaving in 15 mins I ran to the gate the flight was full. But, for the first time the gate agent said "Don't worry we'll get you on." It was a breath of fresh air to hear that. Most gate agents wouldn't even want to look at me, especially since the flight was about to close.
