After they announced another 5% capacity cut I began to think about the flowdown again. I've looked high and low on the dal.alpa.org website for detailed info on the flowdown, but I can only find references to the applicable NWA LOA.
Anyways, as I understand things, you can quit Compass and be ok, but if you are fired, no more DAL for you. I emailed my rep about this yesterday because coming from regional airline world, you learn to be skeptical about regional management and their ability to fire folks over seemingly small issues.
I wrote in regards to the firing policy (I wanted the verbage to change to allow you to keep your DAL recall rights). Got an email back from my rep saying to the effect that the DAL MEC is handling the Compass disiplinary issues etc... and that if you don't screw up you'll be ok. Not exactly the warm/fuzzy feeling that the language is going to change in regards to being fired from Compass. Could you quit five minutes before you get fired from Compass and still be ok? Lots of ??? to be answered before I'd flowback (hope that it doesn't come to this).
Any Compass folks care to comment on any disiplinary actions at the company?
Not that I'm planning on getting fired, but I don't want to screw up my whole career over a regional seat.
