I know this has been beaten already but it's just really sad the way Delta is treating Pinnacle - we're THE LOWEST paid of all regionals and we have to PAY MORE for our parents to fly (Zed High), we lose our buddy passes, we're being limited on transoceanic passes (a whopping "3" per YEAR) and, depending on seniority now, we will be boarding behind a Compass employee's parent on our own aircraft.

Did Uncle Phil really have the option of having a better flight benefit program for Pinnacle and turn it down 'coz of costs????

Yeah I know it's better than nothing but absolutely nothing compared to what we had.
a few comments...
to start I sort of sympathize with the plight, but need to point out a few things that I think you are missing.
I had the benefit of flying upperdeck
It is a BENEFIT, not something guaranteed, owed, assumed, required or you are entitled to. A benefits is simply and addon or a "frill", by complaining you are missing the concept of a BENEFIT.

Again, you miss the point, there is nothing that states you are entitled to anything. This is like kicking the gift horse in the mouth. Did you b!tch at xmas when you were a kid because you didn't get that toy you wanted?

he did it because he does not care about morale, when 9E has the second best on time rate in April what message are the pilots sending?Pinnacle?s April on-time rate second best - Memphis Business Journal: Hmm, perhaps "simply the best regardless of what you do to us?"

You are not NWA nor DAL, NWA was generous (in a way) to provide pass benefits to everyone. Again, take what you can get, let management know of your displeasure in ways that can be demonstrated. B*thcin' on a board is only that, you need to take action to send a message and not by being "simply the best". Think what "simply the best" has gotten you since you were hired?

this is the one thing that always amazes me with guys on he way out the door at 9E, they still want to give that 150%. Then I ask them how much the company gave them, the look is always priceless.
