Garrettdriver has it. I have missed numerous holidays and the kids birthdays over my career until I was furloughed and got this great Corporate job. Never been home more, heck I am home most weekends. As a 121 pilot you have to expect to be gone from your famil...that is just the facts. Now find a good Corporate job and the life style is/can be very different. The good ones are out there.

Downside to Corporate…..Company losing money….Jet is the first to go!
