This RAH business model is scary..... hire people for terrible wages and work rules... claim poor mouth everytime ANYBODY asks for anything... then loan Midwest millions, while signing a contract that puts mainline pilots of the street... and then just a few months later, outright BUY another large aircraft operator... not too bad for a company that never had ANY money to pay their employees fairly, or treat them fairly.... and what's worse... everybody believed they had no money since it was a bare bones operations....

We, and our unions, really need to keep good documentation of things like this, so that when we are in arbitration and they cry poor mouth we can show them to be the liars they really are. There is no way these companies negotiated contracts in good faith... any of them.

So, does ANYBODY think the few majors that are in contract talks now should settle for anything less than major raises, or restitution of their lost wages?
