You shouldn't take it so personal, your frustration should be directed at your management and your helpless MEC. Again, reality check, the United we all grew up with is long gone, and all that is left is a dying airline. If some of your guys insist on going to work for an alter-ego such as gojets, that's their choice, but clearly they are only contributing to the raise to the bottom, I suppose letting your management drive UA into the ground wasn't enough.

Guess you were not around in the 80's when Scabinental was the dredge of the business. Several of those ex Cont. guys are here at UAL. They quit in disgust after CAL was succesfully scabed out. My point? Look at them now. You don't know what the future holds. One good ceo or merger and....viola.

As for GoJets. I don't care if it is GoJet, RAH, or Mesa. The flying is UAL code and therefore if a furloughed UAL dude wants to fly it, that is his contractual right (at 2nd year pay). One could argue that all the UAL regionals are alter ego carriers.
