Most of our hub turn lines are not paid rig. They are paid MDPD(Minimum Pay Per Duty Period). For the hub turn MPDP, that is 3 hrs of pay out of the hub and 3 hours of pay into the hub for a 6 hour pay day. Some of those trips are 22 TAFB (with layover) and some (out and backs which also pay 6 hours) are only 6 hours TAFB. So, to answer your question, most of the time we are not getting paid for the hub turn as we have already earned 6CH for the day..
To be more accurate,
MPDP is a RiG. It is our only "MIN Duty RIG" while operating in/out of a defined sort facility. Note LAX wasn't defined as a SORT facility.
we have Duty RIG 1 for 2 domestic 1 for 1:92 INTL
we have Trip RIG currently 1 for 4 until JAN 08 if the TA passes.
And yes we have MPDP RIG's 1, 2, E, F
