Pretty interesting article about Q100 operators - Piedmont is mentioned specifically, and there there are even a few quotes from management. I suppose it would be sort-of positive if I weren't so jaded.
I thought the Q stood for quiet, and has the active ANR, and other features to keep the cabin quiet.

I didn't know PDT has Q100s, I thought they were just straight 100s. Whereas CommutAir has Q200s.
