You taking an extra job means one less job out there for the many pilots that are looking. And as everyone knows, there are a lot more pilots trying to get a job that there are jobs to be had. I doubt that you're "just asking" me anything. You started with the name calling and accusations so don't be hypocritical and start talking to me about respect.
Again, it is a job market so I am not
taking anything from anyone. Anyone qualified can bid for those jobs. As for respect and sympathy, there is no issue as me looking for extra work in an
open job market is not disrespectful or unsympathetic to furloughees......not even close. There is plenty of easy money to be had from extra flying at my employer and I am absolutely respectful and sympathetic by not picking up that extra flying.
