The point being, after flying and talking with different First Officers and other Captains, I would hear more and more voters against the ALPA drive use Mr. Seggy's name, specifically, as their reasoning.
The most common rationale from these individuals was that they did not want someone like HIM representing them.

Pretty soon I ran out of fingers and put two and two together, maybe if Seggy wasn't out there representing our cause we would have those 10+ votes and got it through the first time while being one year closer to a contract.

To think that an individual like him is now the MEC Chair at Colgan makes me glad that I am no longer there and sad for my friends who are still there. It's easy to win by default I guess.

I said it before and I'll say it again the pilots of Colgan Air deserve ALOT better. If the Pilots at Colgan want an industry-leading contract the first step would be to find some new leadership.
