But the scope fight goes to the heart of representation. Not aggressively fighting to gain jobs on the bottom by recapturing outsourced flying is one thing. I can see maintaining the status quo. But acquiescing to or negotiating to further reduce scope protection for any benefit to a part of the whole is a direct contradiction of the stated mission of ALPA.
