Second year pay at UPS is WELL above what any regional captain is making, or going to make. First year FedEx is $58. I think the majority would be willing to "jump".
Of course they will which will make it even tougher to get on with a UPS, FEDEX or SWA since that is everyone's first choice. My point goes beyond just the pay aspect and as mentioned the risk of furlough is always lingering with one industry hiccup. Its not just all about pay. Its that short sightedness thats been a contributing factor to saying yes to subpar contracts.
