Good luck finding the time to crack open the wallet on a 10-minute turn. I generally go all day without the opportunity to eat or drink anything. I'm tired and dehydrated at the end of most of my days. Combine that with no autopilot, fms, apu, flight attendant, or gps and it all adds up to me being fatigued as hell most days. For me, that's why a crew meal would be important. Oh, and it's hard for me to afford to crack the wallet open on my poverty level wage.
Yikes! Here's some things I do to survive in the mighty Beech. Grab one of those huge Smartwater bottles (reuse it), and just wedge it on the side of your seat. You can buy those little Crystal light packets, and dump them in. That should last ya a few legs. Also, grab a ziplock bag of almonds, cashews, walnuts, etc., and put them in the side pocket. They don't take up a lot of room, so you are still able to move your seat back and forth. It gets me through the day, no problem. You're killin yourself man.
