Then - and with understanding that I know nothing of P121 ops - this would appear on the surface IMO not to fall into the safety related incident that would require the flight to be diverted. This problem - if as reported is accurate - could have been delt with at the destination or even between flights it seems. I hope that there is a "rest of the story" to come.
