lot of reasons. This issue will be investigated by United and appropriate internal issues will be addressed. Since there wasn't an FAR violation and the diversion was apparently handled "normally" in accordance with ATC procedures, you're at the end of the line as far as information on this diversion is concerned.

Yeah - I wasn't actually asking if there would something published when I said that - I was saying that I would hope there was a better reason to divert the flight than having a customs form slipped under the door and the argument that seems to have ensued. Again...I don't have experience with this type of flying but I can't imagine that a conflict such as this rises to the level of a reason to divert a flight. Maybe we'll get some more insider info
