I was at recurrent last week and was told by the instructor they've looked at a spread sheet on the hours that the pilots on the seniority list have and it is inevitable that Colgan will have to hire some street Captains next year.
What problems did we have with the street Captains last time around?
I know one of them has basically taken over PDW's job in terms of rewriting the Q FOM. Another guy is involved with the ALPA safety stuff while another left awhile ago on his own accord to be a 737 CA in Africa. I believe there is one more on the list who worked for Boeing engineering at some point in his career. Just haven't heard anything negative about the street captains.
Blue
