My point is this: If these 270 pilots chose to retire the day before the SLI, all DAL-N pilots would have been 270 pilots more senior on THEIR list and as such, would have been ratioed up higher on the NEW list.

"DennyCrane" loves a good discussion!!!
My point is that is exactly what did happen with the 270 pull and plug. Those 270 were pulled out of fNWA list as if they were retired, you moved up, the lists were merged and they were put back in. Now, if your argument is that if these guys retired before the merged list and then the arbitrators did the pull and plug with 270 more pilots, then yes, you (the fNWA pilot) would be more senior. But that isn't what happened.
All I see is that 215 guys (hopefully) have taken the PIRP which is good for everybody. I'm not trying to be a PITA, but you gotta admit if you feel your right (and I gotta admit you are alot, just not here

) you don't let go!!!!
The previous was all in fun. I haven't latched on to anything in a while and was getting kind of bored. Hopefully this has been one of my sane periods in between bouts with the "mad cow!"
