My sceduling story is like this:

I worked for a part 135 company that was a place you went to just to build time, period. I was supposed to had flown into KGSO, while I was on the jumpseat and the crew was about to close the cabin door, sceduling called to tell me I have been reassigned to fly to KMCI.

So I get my things, run over to another concourse and board a flight to KORD in 10 minutes. I get to KORD and everything is oversold with all jumpseats taken to KMCI. It wasn't until 6:00p.m. that I finally get on board an a/c going to my destination.

The real kicker was sceduling kept calling to be sure I was still in KORD.
Best of all? I only made 10 bucks that day from the $50.00 per day I pulled in. Got my check later and $100.00 bucks was missing. I called to find out and the owner decided to punish me for not reporting to the a/c in a timely manner. I was livid and soon thereafter we parted ways.

Part 135 flying taught me if you hear about a company folks telll you to stay away from, you might want to listen to that.
