Haven't flown with him, but fellow company pilots say he wasn't being fake. Just before the second episode, someone went through the crew lounge and changed all of our computer backgrounds to promo photos of Jake. It was funny how many of our pilot group didn't get it!

I'm just glad he was cheesy and not an ass!
