I am sure I was flying MD-80's when you were still wearing a diaper, so it doesn't really bother me what they do with seniority intergration. There are less than ten pilots at all of RAH who have more time. What I care about is those 16 and 17 year guys who are in danger of being placed at the bottom because one of your 2 or 3 year guys might lose their job. If jobs are being taken in MKE by pilots junior to YX pilots, than I am going to demand of my leadership for DOH. Again, I urge all YX pilots to read carefully what pilots years and years junior to you are posting. This nees to go to arbitration and we need to file this week.
I don't work for RAH.
I'm just really tired of the ridiculous, emotional, internet tough guy hyperbole being thrown around on the interwebs toward Republic Airways pilots who never got a vote toward what business models Brian Bedford and Wayne Heller have decided to pursue.
You can hope for DOH all you want, but don't hold your breath because it ain't going to happen; the last pilot group that stomped its feet and demanded DOH because pilots hired at a date later than them were going to "steal their jobs" has gotten legally smacked down by a handful of local and federal judges.
Midwest has an awesome product, there is no doubt about that. And yes, you MEH pilots are getting screwed in this whole deal, there is no doubt about that either. BUT - your business model hasn't been sustainable for some time know and it was Hoeksema, not RAH pilots or even RAH management, who sent you down this path. In hindsight, maybe "saving the cookie" wasn't the best path to pursue...
I honestly, truly wish you folks all the best...but as an outsider looking in I can't help but think a little less anger and a little more teamwork between your pilot group and the RAH pilot group would pay dividends for both parties involved.
