Because your narrow minded unprofessional drivel is very indicative of why the industry has fallen into the crapper. Yes, starting pay at a regional is embarrasing, but how has flying an "MD80 since they were in dipers" given you any more right to fly at a higher number at a new company. Why couldn't your far superior company sustain itself and stand alone???? Was it maybe because you were flying a regional airline (i know in a 717....a regional airplane) for a payscale that was unsustainable?? Economics plays a huge factor in running airlines. You, sir, have priced yourself out of the regional market.
