Seriously, yeah, you pretty much narrowed it down... I am a half full type of a person however that doesn't mean I'm not looking for improvements here... It's hard to sympathize with UPSMISTAKES and others like him (even though I try very hard to do that) when I have so many friends right now who live on $280 a week before taxes in unemployment benefits... I respect MISTAKES' views but simply feel that he should try to focus on the positive aspects, at least to preserve some happiness in his life...

To clarify things - Jetjok misunderstood a joke I tried to make in a different thread and turned nasty (although he later deleted his comment)... I have no doubt he and many others experienced bad things here at Big Brown and I’m sure he’s happy where he’s now…

It's quite possible that one day 757upspilot will be correct with his "one day he too will hate this place" prediction... Who knows?

Having said that, I listen to other people’s experiences and advice but try to build my own opinion on things too... I haven't experienced anything of what Jetjock and others had talked about in the past but it doesn't mean I don't believe them... I'm simply saying it is because of their past experiences that things got so much better here but of course we can improve things even more...

I'm very grateful for their past sacrifices but cannot hate my employer simply because they were mistreated in the past. Frankly my employer has been pretty good to me... A few years back I dealt with my mom's brain tumor and needed some time off; recently I went through a very unexpected and painful divorce and again needed some time off... The truth is both the union but also my company bent over backwards trying to assist me with my personal problems... Again, I know what happened to the pilots of the past and it is because of their sacrifices that I'm getting the help I need today... So yes, I appreciate what they did; however, I cannot hate my company because of what happened to other pilots in the past... I can only learn from it - and I have...
You used quotation marks around a comment you maintain I made. Where is the comment, I looked back and didn't find it.

I don't hate my employer I just don't trust them very much.
