Gunga, I don't think that anyone in this thread said that raising the mins to ATP is the cure all for regional woes. However, its a good start.
Some have mentioned on this thread that this law will be the gateway to a timeline as follows.
1500 hours --> less applicants --> more jobs --> higher pay, better work rules, a better job to eventually attain --> sleeping with Megan Fox.
I agree that it's a good start, it's just a shame we can't use our collective banter and occasional disagreements to get law makers and the public to get behind the deep rooted issues. Your hours when being hired barely scratches the surface . The real problem is a dark under belly that people don't know of, or do not easily understand, management could care less about and the general public will overlook when saving 11 bucks on a round trip to Flint.
