While sitting in the dentist's chair the other day, there on the wall was a large plaque with 50 or so very clever statements. Stuff like "don't forget to call your mother on Mothers Day" and "drink champagne for no special reason" as well as "feed someone else's parking meter." And right there in the middle of all these sayings was this one "Avoid Negative People". Each and every saying made sense, especially the last one I listed. In this profession, I'd prefer guys who are psychologically "under the weather" to just call in sick. If a pilot can't remain positive, they can't in my opinion, do a professional job. If that's the case, they should either get their head on right, or leave the profession to those of us who, under the same or similar strains, can still focus on getting the job done. Just my opinion.
