What are we all worried about anyway? There's going to be atleast 2 years worth of "well qualified" furloughees with ATP or better that will be hired before any of the 250 hr wet commercial ticket pilots (Giving them ample time to build experience). Higher requirements should mean higher pay and that is something we should all support. I had near ATP mins before my first 121 job and cannot believe some of the stories I hear from captains about my lower time counterparts. A captain isn't there to babysit and hopefully these changes reverse the current trend of quantity over quality as far as hiring practices are concerned.
