I agree with all the people that frown upon Gulfstream. Yippy skippy...so you get to fly a Beech 1900...You will learn WAAAAY more flight instructing than paying to fly a BE1900. You could spend about a 3rd of the money, get your CFI, CFII, and MEI...and get better life experience at that! Plus once you get your dream job at a regional (or whatever you would like to persue), you will feel very confident (if you choose to) as a line check pilot, or an IOE captain. Instructing will be second nature. That is my advice from people before me, and my own personal experience. And Nick, please DO NOT feel like we are attacking you! We are all trying to help you NOT make a dumb move and pay $30,000 that you don't need to spend. Again, you will learn WAY MORE as a CFI the learning how to push buttons in a 1900.
