I doubt Colgan...it is public that 15 more are coming for CAL with 15 options. Colgan has 15 confirmed planes as well.
I cant imagine that they would just order 5 random planes and not make that public as well amongst the other 45 airframes.
I agree with you but I will throw this out there...
United walked away from signing a deal with Colgan in Feb for Q's out of Denver or Los Angeles. Why? 3407. As soon as 3407 happened they walked because they did not want the bad press at the time. It would not be crazy to think a order went in without an announcement because United still wants the 3407 buzz to quiet down a bit more.
