I think you need some guys who've flown for Alaska for awhile to post here. I have many friends flying there who are more than a little ****ed. Taking a 35% pay cut when the company was still posting profits will do that to you.
I have many friends at many airlines that more than a little ****ed, including SWA, Continental, JetBlue, and AirTran. I also have friends that swear by each of those companies.
Fact of the matter is that it doesn't matter what anybody else thinks about a company- only each individual can determine what is a right fit and great employer/job for themselves.
