From what I have heard Flag Ops has stricter duty limits. It is causing alot of head scratching because we are looking at an undermanned situation if the whole company goes to it. Supposedly the company is trying to "swing" some deal that we are Flag Ops only on the ultra long distance flights, but the FAA is saying you either are Flag or your'e not. It is kind of like being a little bit pregnant.
Not according to our NC. They said that Flag Ops will actually be a net negative in required bodies after running the numbers so its delay is not necessarily a bad thing.
