Question for all UAX carriers.

At my company, if they need to DH you somewhere to start a trip, you are positive space. However, if your trip ends in a DH back to base, you're on standby. Our contract says they have to positive space us, but it has been explained to me that this is a UAL policy. Any others experience this?
