PFT = Pay For Training. If GIA isn't PFT, then no one is! You pay GIA $30K, and they train you how to fly a B1900. Sounds like PFT to me. PFT is generally frowned upon in the industry now a days. It's generally seen as a way for someone to buy themselves into a job. But, what people want to do with their money is their business.
