Maybe we just need an industry wide pay standard for a particular airframe. And have ALPA not sign a contract unless it meets the standard. Then if you want to be a freak and work at Mesa then so be it. Just don't expect that when they go bust you have a job at PSA or Piedmont. Make your choice then stick with it. Just have 1 contract for all. 1 pay rate.
That is the most inteligent thing i have seen all day. I feel much like you do. Those who went to crappy airlines made their bed now they have to sleep in it.
