And I dont disagree with you Jon. However with the FFD program and what has been propsed and tossed around, anyone on property would not get the boot if pilots were brought on board. I believe there is something in the works along the lines of all the furloughed and active pilots would not be bounced due to a gain of planes. However the NEW jobs created, if there are any, by a net gain of planes would be given to the pilots of the airline that stood up and refused to fly the planes. At the end of the day there's a lot that needs to be worked out.
Am I a fan of the current program, its hard to say since there's very little out there to tell us exactly how things would work and or what the thought process is about really. However I would not be opposed to listening to peoples thoughts on the issue and seeing where it goes. At the end of the day it would come to an angreement at which point a pilot group can choose to either vote it in and or out. However the thought of, "My airline wont fold" is a concept people around PSA seem to think, and its not exactly the best way to approach things. Because tomorrow we could be the next comair with Mesa gaining our planes. But again I want more details on the FFD program as I am sure you do....
fyi Jon, we never met up at the good ole Hooters to discuss things!!!

I thought beers were on you!?!?
