I'm not an employee of either company but from the responses from the SWA folks, I get the impression that they are more hurt by F9 going the other way. I think there is some truth that SWA really needed this deal. You all are extremely proud of your company so why come on here and put F9 down for not taking your deal?
And for the folks that say the junior F9 folks got screwed, I think it's the opposite. What hasn't been mentioned too much on here was the rumor was to furlough an additional 200+ pilots at F9 so the pay freeze makes no difference. I think FAPA was actually looking out for their junior pilots too.
To the F9 folks, study what happened between RAH and Midwest and just don't let that happen to you. Don't let your guard down and keep fighting to keep what you have.
